How to calculate your total costs?
At the end of the month, it can be overwhelming when you get hit with a bill that you did not anticipate. Understand how to calculate your total costs with the basic scenarios below (Based on ebay.com selling site).

If you are an occasional seller with a low sales volume and a small amount of monthly listings (eg.50), a store subscription won’t be necessary as you can take advantage of the 250 zero insertion fee listings you are allotted monthly.
Scenario: In June, you had 20 listings and you sold 1 ski jacket for $65 with a free shipping option and you’re meeting our performance expectations.

If you are a seller with a small amount of monthly listings (eg.50) but a high sales volume, you will benefit from a store subscription to help you manage your costs. Here we will show you how to calculate tiered FVF charges.
Scenario: In October, you had 30 listings and you sold 1 order of a luxury watch ($15,000 total sales) with a free shipping option and you’re meeting our performance expectations.

If you are a seller with a high amount of listings (eg.500) but a low sales volume, you will benefit from a store subscription to help you save on insertion fees.
Scenario: In March, you had 350 listings. You did not make any sales and you do not have a store subscription.

Without any profit for the month, you were charged $35. With a Basic store subscription, you would be entitled to 1000 zero insertion fee listings and would only need to pay the subscription fee of $27.95.
